Barrington Medical Centre Security Camera Policy
Security Cameras are installed inside and around the building as a crime deterrant.
In the event of criminal activity - disclosure of footage will be given to the Police, as per the Privacy Act principles 10 and 11 exceptions listed below;
- The use or disclosure is necessary for court or tribunal proceedings.
- The use or disclosure is necessary to enable a public sector agency to uphold the law (including preventing, detecting, investigating, prosecuting and publishing offences).
- The use or disclosure is necessary to prevent or lessen a serious and imminent threat to public health and safety or the life and health of an individual
