Dr Crystal Diong

Kia ora, 

I lived in the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur before moving to Dunedin at the age of ten. After completing my medical degree at the University of Otago in 2016, I worked in a variety of hospital specialities in Whangārei before working in General Practice in 2025.

I love the breadth of GP work and have a particular interest in women’s health, cancer survivorship, lifestyle medicine, and healthy aging.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy making computer programs, dragon boating, pottery, and learning new languages. I look forward to meeting the patients of Barrington Medical Centre and working with you to help you achieve your health goals
